Resolution 2828 - Submit to Voters - Secondary Sewer Treatment BondRESOLUTION NO. 2828
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THAT THE QUESTION OF SECONDARY SEWERAGE TREATMENT
PROJECT AND THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS THEREFORE, BE SUBMITTED TO THE VOTERS AT
A CITY SPECIAL ELECTION,
WHEREAS,,the City Council has hired engineers to design the proposed secondary
sewerage treatment project for the City of Kalispell; and
WHEREAS, said project is being designed, and according to engineering estimates
will require the sum of $ 770,000.00 for completion; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell will be required to furnish the approximate sum
of $ 200,000.00 for the construction of said project, it is necessary to issue
bonds for said sum, and
WHEREAS,, the City Council desires to construct and complete the said Secondary
Sewerage Treatment Project by the use of revenue bonds Issued pursuant to Title
Eleven, Chapter Twenty-four of the revised Codes of Montana; and
WHEREAS, the question of the approval of said project and its financing must be
submitted to the proper voters of Kalispell:
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the question of the approval or rejection of
the proposed Secondary Sewerage Treatment Project be placed before the proper
voters at a Special Election to be hold on November 16 1 1971:
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk give all notices required by law for
said election question and that he authorize the closing of registration for
said election pursuant to law.
