A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR SECOND CALL FOR CONSTRUCTION BlDb
FOR SID 313 AND PROVIDING FOR BIDS ON SEPARATE PARTS OF SAID
PROJECT,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Kalispell,
in compliance with the statutes of.the State of Montana, did, on
the 6th day of July, 1971, create Special Improvement District No.
313 of the City of Kalispell,,for the purpose of installing water
mains, installing sanitary sewers and installing curbs and paving
in all of,.that area included in Northridge Heights, Section Fc'urp
in accordance with the terms and conditions as specified in,
Resolutions No. 2800 and No. 2808.
WHEREAS, Atlas Engineers, Inc., P. 0. Box 1483, Billings,
Montana, has submitted plans of said construction, and same have
been approved by the City Engineer for the City of Kalispell.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2818, the City Council did
authorize the City Clerk to call for bids on said construction
and the City Clerk did call for said bids in accord with the laws
of the State of Montana and said bids were properly received and
opened by the City Council at its regular meeting on the 7th day
of September, 1971-at which time all said bids were rejected by
the city.
NOW THEREFORE, b6 it hereby resolved:
1. That the City Clerk forthwith make a second call for
bids for said construction in accord with the laws of the State
of Montana.
2. That said call for bids provide for bids to be made on
any or all of the separate parts of said project and the notice
thereof be in the substantial form of and contain the provisions
of Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
