A RnSOLUTION AUTHORIZING THr, KAYOR TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR
FEDERAL GRANT FOR SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT IP4PROVM,4FNTS.
WHEPX-AS, it is the desire and intent of the City of
Kalispell to expand and improve the sewage treatment facilities
of the City to meet Federal,and State standards of such
facilities; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Federal laws, to -wit;
33 LLS.C. 466, et seq., the City may be able to secure a
Federal Grant of funds to aid in the financing of said sewage
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City desires that an application
for such Federal assistance be made by the City,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor is hereby
authorized and instructed to make the necessary application to
the appropriate agency of the U. S. Government for such qrant
of Federal Funds therefore. In making such application the
Mayor is authorized and instructed to execute any documents or
provide any information to such agency to perfect said application.
