A RESOLUTION ESTIMATING THE COST OF PARKING MAINTENANCE AND SPRINKLING
THE STREETS AND AVENUES WITH OIL IN OIL SPRINKLING DISTRICT AND LEVY-
ING AN ASSESSMENT FOR SAME FOR THE YEAR 1971*
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ME CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That the entire cost of Parking Maintenance and of Oil
Sprinkling District for the year 1971 Is estimated to be $76,000.00.
SECTION 2. That the assessment Is hereby levied on all lots or parcels
of land within the city limits an follows:
501 x 1421 lots @ $1.50 per 1,000 square
feet or $10.65 per lot.
All other tracts, lots or parcels of land larger or smaller than
the above shall be assessed at the rat* of $1.50 per 1,000 square
feet or portions thereof.
SECTION 3. All vacant and unimproved lots, parcels of late or tracts
within the City, but not abutting or actually fronting or touching
upon a city street or avenue, shall not be assessed.
SECTION 4. The lots or tracts of now additions to the City shall not
be assessed until said lot or tract shall be improved and/or occupied
for living or dwelling purposes, or a period of two (2) years shall
have expired from the date said addition was included within the City*
whichever shall first occur; thereafter said lot or tract shall be
assessed at the same rate as are all other lots or parcels of land
within the city limits.
SECTION 5. The assessments are made pursuant to city records on file
in the Office of the City Clerk.
