A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it Is the intention of the City Council, of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Ordinanc(
#624 (Section 247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, 1947) prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be Included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particularly
described as follows:

LOT ONE (1)
SEC. 1
T 28 N - R 22 W
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described, will be in the best interests of the City of
Kalispell, and the inhabitants thereof, and to the Inhabitants of the
contiguous tract above described, and to be included within the limits of
said City, and further that said addition will not materially mar the
symmetry and order of the Cley of Kalispell, and that said tract proposed
to be included within the corporate limits of said City Is contiguous to
said City, and is duly and regularly platted as required by law.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described and to be included
within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, 4s to be
classified as No. I RESIDENCE DISTRICT.
SECTION 5. That on the 10th day of Mayj 1971, at 7:30 P. M. in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof,
the City Council will consider any expressions of approval or disapproval,
in writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries of said City, from
resident freeholders of the above described tract proposed to be embraced,
within 20 days of the first publication of notice._
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give proper notice of the
passage of this resolution, by publication, as required by law, such
publication to be made in the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper, published
