A RESOLUTION TO ABANDON ALTERATION OF CITY BOUNDARIES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA:
WHEREAS, on May 5, 1969 this Council passed Resolution No. 2724
wherein intention was expressed to add to the City of Kalispell
that area to be known as Kalispell Addition No. 10; and
WHE1r,,,AS, the City Clerk of the City of Kalispell caused to be
published in the News, a newspaper published at -Kalispell, Montana,
proper notice concerning Resolution No. 2724; and
WHEREAS, expressions of disapproval, in writing, of the proposed
extension of the'boundaries of said City were received from
resident freeholders of the territory proposed to be embraced
therein and said protesting resident freeholders constituting a
majority of the resident freeholders in said territory;
NOW THERE!,FORE, be it resolved, that this Council does hereby revoke
and abandon Resolution No. 2724 and the boundaries of the City of
Kalispell shall not be extended as set forth therein.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA ON THE 2ND DAY OF JUNE, 1969.
