A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That It is the Intention of the City Council, of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to nxtond the corporate limits, and to amend Ordinance
#674 (Section 247 of the Revised Ordinnnr-,es of the City of Kalispell,
Moutana, 1947) prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. 'That the proposed additional area to be included within the
k,orporatv limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particular-
ly 4p.scribed as follows;
Beginning at the Northwest Corner of Section 7, T. 28 N., R. 21 W.�
M.P.1,1. Easterly along the Northerly line of Section 7, T.
28 IN., R. 21 W. to Its intersection with the Westerly line of U. S,
Highway No. 93 thence Southerly along the Vesterly line of U. S.
Highway No. 93 to its Intersection with the Easterly line of the
Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 7, T. 28 N., Range
21 W. thence Southerly along said line to its intersection with
the Northeast Corner of Lot 10, Block 2, Underhill Subdivision to
Kzillspell thence Westerly along the Northerly line of the Underhill
Subdivision to Its intersection with the Centerline line of bleri-
than Road thence; Northerly along the Centerline line of Meridian
Road to the Northwest Corner of Section 7, T. 28 N., R. 21 W. the
point of beginning. To be known as Addition No. 10 to the City of
Kalispell, Montana. This area is now surrounded by the present
Kalispell City limits.
SECTION 3. That the said tract of land above described, and to be In-
cluded within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana
Is to be identified as follows:
KALISPELL ADDITION NO. 10
SECTION 4. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described and identified above, will be In the best Interests
of the City of Kalispell, and the Inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabi-
tants of the contiguous tract above described, and to be included within
the limits of said City, and further that said addition will riot mater-
ially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said
tract proposed to be Included within the corporate limits of said City
Is contiguous to said City.
SECTION 5. That the said tract of land above described and identified,
and to be Included within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell,
Montana is to be classified as
SECTION 6. That on the 2nd day of June, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. in the Coun-
cil Chambers of the City Hall In Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meet-
Ing thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of approval
or disapprovalv in writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries
of said City, from resident freeholders of the above described tract
proposed to be embracedo which expressions in writing have been filed
with the City Clark within 20 days of the first publication of notice.
SECTION 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give the proper notice
of the passage of this resolution, by publication, as required by law,
such publication to be made in the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper
published In the City of Kalispell, Montana.

SECTION 8. The map outlining the area proposed to be annexed, marked
Exhibit "A" is hereby made a part of this resolution.
