A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND T14E CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That It is the Intention of the City Council, of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Ordinance
i�624 (Section 247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, 1947) prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particular-
ly described as follows:
A tract located In the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section
7, Township 28 N., Range 21 W., M.P.M.
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of the Southwest 1/4 of the North-
west 1/4 of Section 7, T. 28 N., R. 21 W. thence Southerly along the
Easterly line of said S. W. 1/4 of N. W. 1/4 of Section 7 a distance
of 552.95 feet to the Northerly line of a public road thence; Westerly
along the Northerly line of said public road a distance of 1076.0
feet to the Easterly line of Meridian Road thence; Northerly along
the Easterly line of Meridian Road a distance of 612.95 feet to the
Southwesterly Corner of the Underhill Subdivision thence; Easterly
along the Southerly line of said Underhill Subdivision a distance
of 695.2 feet to the Westerly line of Lot 14, Block 3, of said Sub-
division thence; Southerly along the Westerly line of said Lot 14
a distance of 60.0 feet to the Southwest Corner of said Subdivision
thence; Easterly along the Southerly line of said Subdivision a dis-
tance of 381.12 feet to the point of beginning, containing 14.616
acres. To be known as Addition No. 11 to the City of Kalispell,
Montana.
SECTION 3. That the said tract of land above described, and to be in-
cluded within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana is
to be identified as follows:
KALISPELL ADDITION NO. 11
SECTION 4. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described and Identified above, will be in the best interests
of the City of Kalispell, and the Inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabi-
tants of the contiguous tract above describedv and to be included within
the limits of said City, and further that said addition will not materi-
ally mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said
tract proposed to be Included within the corporate limits of said City Is
contiguous to said City.
SECTION 5. That the said tract of land above described and identified,
and to be Included within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell,
Montana is to be classified as
S ECTION 6. That on the 2nd day of June, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall In Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting
thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of approval or
disapproval, In writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries of
said City, from resident freeholders of the above described tract proposed
to be embraced, which expressions in writing have been filed with the City
Clerk within 20 days of the first publication of notice.
SECTION 7. The City Clerk Is hereby directed to give the proper notice
of the passage of this resolution, by publication, as required by law,
such publication to be made In the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper
published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
S'h'�CTTON 8. The map outlining the area proposed to be annexed, marked
Exhibit "A" is hereby made a part of this resolution.
