A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF TUE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA.
13E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it Is the Intention of the City Council, of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Ordinance
#624 (Section 247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell
Montana, 1947) prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That tile proposed additional area to be Included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, Is more particular-
ly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Lot 1, Block 1, North East
Addition to Kalispell, Montana, located S. W. 1/4 of N. W. 1/4 Sec-
tion 8, T. 28 N., R. 21 W., M.P.M. a plat of which Is on file and
of record in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder, Flathead
County, Montana, thence; S. 130 491 E. a distance of 33.0 feet to
the true point of beginning, thence S. 130 491 E. along the Easterly
line of Eighth Avenue East North a distance of 399.0 feet to the
Southerly line of East Oregon Street, thence; S. 760 111 W. a dis-
tance of 33.0 feet to the centerline of Eighth Avenue East North
also the present City limit line, thence; N. 130 491 W. along the
Centarline of Eighth Avenue East North a distance of 399.0 feet to
the Centerline of East Oregon Street, thence; N. 760 111 E. a dis-
tance of 33.0 feet to the true point of beginning. To be known as
Addition No. 12 to the City of Kalispell.
SECTION 3. That the said tract of land above described, and to be in-
cluded within the corporate limits of the,City of Kalispell, Montana is
to be identified as follows:
KALISPELL ADDITION NO. 12
SECTION 4. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described and identified above, will be in the best interests
of the City of Kalispell, and the Inhabitants thereof, and to the Inhabi-
tants of the contiguous tract above described, and to be Included within
the limits of said City, and further that said addition will not materi-
ally mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said
tract proposed to be included within tbe-corporate limits of said City Is
contiguous to said City.
SECTION 5. That the said tract of land above described and Identified,
and to be included within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell,
Montana Is to be classified as
SECTION 6. That on the 2nd day of June, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. In the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting
thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of approval or
disapproval, In writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries of
said City, from resident freeholders of the above described tract proposed
to be embraced, which expressions in writing have been filed with the City
Clerk within 20 days of the first publication of notice.
SECTION 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give,the proper notice
of the passage of this resolutionv by publications as required by lawv
such publication to be made In the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper
published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
SECTION 8. The map outlining the area proposed to be annexed, marbed
Exhibit "A" Is hereby made a part of this resolution.
