RESOLUTION NO. 2647
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City council of the City of Kalispell.
Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section 247 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, Montana, of 1947, prescribing the limits of
said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the corporate
limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, Is more particularly descriVed as
followo
PURDY ADDITION
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
as described above, will be In the best interests of the City of Kalispell, and
the Inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabitants of the contiguous tract above
described, and to be included within the limits of said City, and further, that
such addition will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalkspell,
and that such tract proposed to be Included within the corporate limits of said
City to contiguous to slad City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to be Included within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell as aforesaid, Is duly and regularly
platted,.as required by law, and Is to be classified as NO. 5-' BUSINESS RESIDENCE
ZONE.
SECTION 5. That on the llth day of December, 1967, at 7:30 P. M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof,
the City Council will hear and pass upon any protests that may be made against
the extension of these boundaries. The closing time for the filing of written
protests is hereby declared to be 5:00 P. M., December 8, 1967.
SECTION 6. That the City Clark is hereby authorized and directed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this resolution, by publication as required by law,
such publication to be made In the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper published
in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
