RESULUTIUN NO. 2598
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE TAKING OF AN OPTION 10 PURCHASE LAND NEAR WOOD-
LANM PARK AIND AUT!10RIZ]:,N,", THE NAYOR TO SAID OPI'101,1.
WMEREAS, Louis T. Phillips and Carol B. Phillips, husband and wife, own
Lhe hereinafter described real property which is located near Woodland Park
and desire to sell said property to the City of Kalispell, and
WHERMS, the City of Kalispell desires to purchase said property for
$10,000.00 to be paid over a period of three years froun, the date of July 15,
1966, all sums unpaid to bear interest at the rate of 7% per annum, and the
City desires to take an option on said property for the sun of $10.00;
NOW TIEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that an option be entered into for
the purpose of the following described real property�
All of WOODLAND HEIGHTS including Blocks One (1), Two (2), Three
(3), and Four (4), a plat of wbich is on file and of record at the office
of the ClerR and Recorder of Flathead County, Stato of flontana EXCEPTILNIC
therefrom the following described tram
A tract of land in Section 3, Township 28 North, Range 21 West of
the flontana Principal Nerldian and being a tract of land within the recorded
Subdivision of the aforesaid MODLAND HEIGHTS and being more particularly
described as follows, to wit,
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot One (1) of Block Three (3)
of the aforesaid Woodland Heights, wbich point is the true point of begin-
ning of thp tract to be described; t.hen South 30 0 22t West upon the Westerly
boundary of the aforesaid subdivision a distaRne of 239.55 feet; thence
South 490 251 East a distance of 217.45 feet; thence South 55 0 531 East a
distance of MOM feet; thence South 890 191 East of 128.03 feet to 0 the
Easterly boundary of the aforesaid WOODLAND HEIGHTS; thence Horth 30 241

West a distance of 491.37 feet to a point; thence South 76' 011 West a dis-
tame of 51 M feet to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lerms of said Oition shall be as follow-,
1. It shall exist until October 15, 1966, and may be exercised at any
time within that perloO.
2. The sale price shall be $10,000.00 to be paid over a period oE three
(3) years from and after July 15, IA66, and all unpaid su=shall bear interest
at the rate of 7% per annum from July 15, 1966.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the 11yor of Kalispell be and he hereby is author-
ized to execute the aforesaid option in, order to bird the, City thereto.
