A RESOLUTION LEVYING THE COST OF REMOVAL OF GARBAGE OR OTHER OFFENSIVE
MATTER FROM STREETS, ALLEYS, OR ON ANY PREMISES AS A SPECIAL TAX AGAINST
PRDPERTY FROM WHICH SUCH MATTER WAS DEPOSITED, AND THE DISPOSITION THEREOF.

WHEREAS: Section 11-909 Of the Revised Codes of Montana, 1947, gives a
City Council power to provide for levying the cost of removal of garbage
or other offensive matter from streets, alleys, or any premises as a
special tax against the property from which the same was deposited, the
City Council deenis such a method nore equitable and just than paying
for such removal from the General Fund of the City.
SECTION 1. The cost for removal of garbage or other offensive matter
for the year 1967 Is hereby estimated to be,$57,000.00, and the City
Council finds that the cost of the removal of garbage or other offen-
sive matter from the various lots and parcels of land within the City
and benefited by such removal is the sum set opposite the description
of each parcel or lot, as shown by the assessment records in.the Office
of the City Clerk.
