Resolution 2630 - Vacate Street and Alley - Portion of 4th Ave WRESOLUTION NO. 2630
"BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and the City
Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, after receiving a Pe-
tition for the closing of that portion of the street and alley
within the City of Kalispell, Montana, described as1follows, to.
wit:
That portion of 4th Avenue West and the
alley situated in Block 91, Kalispell
Original Townsite, as they are located
and exist between the south boundary of
6th Street West and the north boundary
I of 7th Street West, all in Kalispell,
Montana,
and finding that said Petition was signed by at least 75% of the
property owners of lots abutting that portion of said street and
alley to be closed, and that said Petition was in writing, and that
the closing of said street can be done without detriment to public
interest, and further finding that Notice that said Petition would
be acted upon was duly given in accordance with Section 11-2802,
R.C.M. 1947;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Kalispell, Montana, hereby order and decree that the
following described street and alley in the City of Kalispell,
Montana, be and the same hereby is, vacated and discontinued, and
the land therein shall attach to and become part of the adjoining
lots:
That portion of 4th Avenue West and the
alley situated in Block 91, Kalispell
Original Townsite, as they are located
and exist between the south boundary of
6th Street West and the north boundary
of 7th Street West, all in Kalispell,
Montana.
