RESOLUTION NO. 2608
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THAT THE QUESTION OF THE NORTHWEST KALISPELL SEWERAGE
PROJECT BE SUBMITTED TO THE VOTERS AT THE CITY GENERAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, the City Council has hired engineers to design the proposed
sewerage project for Northwest Kalispell; and
WHEREAS, said project Is being designed, and according to engineer.
ing estimates will require the sum of $ 170,000.00 for completion; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell will be required to furnish the approxi-
mate sum of $ 134,000.00 _ for the construction of said project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to construct and complete the said
Northwest Kalispell Sewerage project by the use of revenue bonds issued
pursuant to Title Eleven, Chapter Twenty-four of the Revised Codes of
Montana; and
WHEREAS, the question of the approval of said project and Its finan-
cing must be submitted�to the proper voters of Kalispell;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the question of the approval or
rejection of the proposed Northwest Kalispell Sewerage project be placed
before the proper voters at the City General Election to be held on
April 3rd , 1967;
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk give all notices required
by law for said election question and that he authorize the closing of
registration for said election pursuant to law.
