A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 302
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it Is the intention of the City Council of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, to create Special Improvement District No. 302 for the following
described area:
Beginning at a point on the Southeast Corner of the intersection of
Third Avenue East and Fourteenth Street, thence southerly along the
easterly side of Third Avenue East to Its intersection with the
Southerly Section line of Section 17, Township 28 North, Range 21 West,
thence westerly along the southerly boundary line of Section 17 to its
intersection with the westerly line of the Poston Addition alley�: thence
northerly along the westerly line of said alley to Its intersection with
the southerly line of the Poston Addition alley, thence westerly along
the southerly line of said alley to its intersection with the southerly
line of lot 8, Block 1, Poston Addition, extended, thence easterly along
the southerly line of lot 8 extended to its intersection with the east-
erly line of U.S. Highway No. 93, thence northerly along the easterly:
line of U.S. Highway to a point 101 feet southerly at right angle to the
southerly line of Thirteenth Street, thence easterly and parallel to the
southerly line of Thirteenth Street to its intersection with the easterly
line of First Avenue East, thence northerly along the easterly line of
First Avenue East a distance of 51 feet, thence easterly and parallel to
the southerly line of Thirteenth Street to its intersection with the
westerly line of Second Avenue East, thence southerly along the westerly
line of Second Avenue Last to its intersection with the southerly line
of Fourteenth Street East to its intersection with the easterly line.of
Third Avenue East, the point of beginning.
SECTION 2, That the general character of the improvements to be,Tnade In said
proposed Special Improvement District Is the Installation of a sanitary sewer.
SECTION 3. That the estimated cost of said improvements is $44,090.00.
SECTION 4. That the entire cost and expense of said improvements shall be
assessed against each lot within the district to be assessed for that part
of the whole cost which its area bears to the area of the entire district.
SECTION 5. That said assessment shall be paid for in full upon completion of
the contract, or shall be paid In �O equal installments, hereby extended
over a period of of 20 years. Said assessment shall constitute a fund to
be known as Special Improvement District No. 302 .
SECTION 6. That said improvements shall be paid for In Special Improvement
District Warrants issued against said district in sums not to exceed $1,000.00
each, bearing interest at a rate'not to exceed six percent (6%) per annum from
date of registration until called for redemption or paid In full.
SECTION 7. That on the — 4th ' day of A2rI1 , 1967, at 7:30 P.M. In the Coun-
cil Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting thereof, the City Council will hoar and pass on any protests that may
be nade against the making of said improvements or the creation of said district.
SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper
notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and mailing as required
by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper,
published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
