RESOLUTION NO. 2609
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A FEDERAL GRANT FOR SEWER
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell desires a Federal grant for sewerage
treatment works under Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended
(33 USC 466 et seq.); and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell Is making application for said grant;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell agrees to pay the remaining cost of
the approved project for sewerage treatment works should the voters of
Kalispell approve said project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell will provide proper and efficient
operation and maintenance of the approved project after completdbft� of
construction thereof if approved and if the requested grant Is received;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the City apply for a Federal Grant for sewage treat-
ment works under the Federal Water PollutionControl Act as amended
(33 USC 466 et seq.) seeking a grant in the amount of $39,600.00;
2. That the Mayor of Kalispell and City Clerk be and they
hereby are authorized to execute the necessary application for said
Federal Grant.

APPROVED BY THE MAYOR THIS 7TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1967.
