RESOLUPION NO. 2593
RESOLUTION PROVIDING COUNTY OF FLATnEAO WITU TlX AUTHORITY TO THE EXTENT
OF TWO HILLS FOR LIBF-kRY CONSOLIDATIOIN FIKIPOSES:
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell desires to consolidate its library
with the County of Flathead in the old Post Office building, In order to
benefit the public interest and provide Increased library services, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell desires to grant
its taxation authority to the extent of two mills to the CounLy of Flathead
In order to better accomplish and facilitate the operation of the desired
library consolidation, and
WHEREAS, said consolidation could be achieved in tb,,�e for the budget
year 1967-1963.
NOW THERZPDRE, BZ IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Xalispell,
Flathead County, 1-11ontana, as follows.
1. 'rhat said City Council. hereby relinquishes to the
County of Flathead and its Board of Commissioners
said council taxation authority to the extent of
two mills,
2� Said auLhorizaton shall apply to the property within
the City limits of Kalispell, 11ontana, and shall
commence with the fiscal year 1967-1968, and shall
continue thereafter until such authority is revoked,
