A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PHE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL.
WHEREASt the City of Kalispell is now the owner of a tract of land described
as follows:
A tract of land described by metes and bounds, situated in the
Northwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 28 North, Range 21 West,
The true point of beginning being North 00061 East 300.0,fect and
East 10.0 feet from a brass disc set at the Southwest Corner of the
U. S. Forest Service property according to the official plat thereof
6n file and of record in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder
of Flathead County. Montana; thence from this true point of begin-
ning North 04061 East a distance of 250.0 feet; thence East a distance
of 290.0 feet; thence South OoO6* West a distance of 250.0 feet; thence
West a distance of 290.0 feet to the true point of beginning; being a
tract of land Two Hundred Fifty feet by Two Hundred Ninety feet and
containing 1.66 acres.
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, did on the
21st day of September, 1964, authorize the sale of the above described property
to Lawrence E. Stocklaill for the sum of $1,600.00 per acre;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, that in consideration of the payment of $1,600.00 per
acre, the above described tract be conveyed to Lawrence E. Stocklaill, and
the Mayor of the City of Kalispell be authorized and directed to exeCute on
behalf of the City of Kalispell a good and sufficient deed conveying the
above described tract of real estate, subject to the restriction that said
property shall be used only for airport4acilities and operations, and subject
to a reservation to the City of Kalispell, its successors and assigns, of a
right-of-way and easement across and under the above described tract for the
purpose of constructing, servicing and maintaining water and sewer lines and
their appurtenances.
PASSEL AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana
this 21st day of September, 1964.
