RESOLUTION NO. 2531
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2530 PERTAINING TO THE EXTENSION OF
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. RESOLUTION NO. 2530 IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. THAT IT IS THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, of the City
of Kalispell Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section
247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, Montana of 1947
prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particularly
described as follows;
Beginning at the N.E. corner of the SE k SE k of Section 18,
Township 28 North, Range 21 West, thence South 88* 401 West
along the northerly line of said SE k SE k of Section 18, a
distance of 30 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
from that point South 886 401 West along the Northerly line
of said SE k SE k of Section 18, a distance of 653.5 feet,
thence South 00 131 West, a distance of 312.5 feet, thence
North 880 401 East, a distance of 375.02 feet to a point on
the Easterly boundary of a public road, thence South 01 071
East, 4.91 feet to the Northwest corner of Baker*s Southside
Addition, thence East along the North boundary of Baker's
Southside Addition a distance of 283 feet, thence North 0* 071
West a distance of 324 feet to the true point.of beginning,
containing 5.0 acres, more or less.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described above, will be in the best Interests of the City of
Kalispell, and the inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabitants of the con-
tiguous tract above described, and to be Included within the limits of said
City, and further that said addition will not materially mar the symmetry and
order of the City of Kalispell, and that said tract proposed to be Included
within the corporate limits of said City is contiguous to said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to be
included within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana is
to be classified as number zone.
SECTION 5. That on the 14th day of September, 1964, at 7:30 P. M. in
the Council Chambers of the City Hall In Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of approval
or disapproval, in writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries of
said City, from resident freeholders of the above described tract proposed
to be embraced, which expressions In writing have been filed with the City
Clerk, on or before September 9, 1964
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give the proper notice
of the passage of this resolution, by publication, as required by law, such
publication to be made in the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper published
in the City of Kalispell, Montana.

THE 5th DAY OF AUGUST, 1964.
