RESOLUTION NO. 2530-A
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE GIFT OF DEPOT PARK FROM THE GREAT NORTHERN
RAILWAY, AND EXTENDING THANKS FOR SAID GIFT;
WHEREAS, John M. Buddv President of the Great Northern Railway
personally presented a gift deed to Depot Park to the Mayor of
Kalispell on behalf of the City on July 9, 1964; and
WHEREAS, said park has always been one of Kalispell's finest
assets; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of Kalispell desire to
express their sincere gratitude to John M. Budd and the Great
Northern Railway for said gift;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED:
That the Mayor and Council of Kalispell accept the gift of
Depot Park for said City, and extend their sincere gratitude and
thanks to John M. Budd and the Great Northern Railway for said gift.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR THIS 13th DAY OF JULY, 1964.
