A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND 'THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA-
SECTION I. THAT IT IS 'THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section'
247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, Montana of 1947
prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, Is more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of the SEk SEk of Section 18, Town*.
ship 28 North, Range 21 West, thence from this true point of
beginning, South 880 401 West along the northerly line of said
SEk SEk of Section 18, a distance of 683.5 feet, thence South
00 131 West, a distance of 312.5 feet, thence North 880 401
East 375.02 feet, to a point on the Easterly boundary of a
public road, thence South 00 071 East, 4.91 feet to the North-
west corner of Bakerts Southside Addition, thence East along
the North boundary of Baker's Southside Addition, a distance of
283 feet, to the center line of a public road commonly known as
the Airport Road, thence North 0* 071 West along the center line
of said road, 324.0 feet to the point of beginning, Containing
5.0 acres, more or less.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the,CIty of Kalispell,
Montana, as described above, will be in the best interests of the City of
Kalispell, and the Inhabitants thereof, and to the Inhabitants of the
contiguous tract above described, and to be included within the limits of
said City, and further that said addition will not materially mar the
symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said tract proposed
to be included within the corporate limits of said City is contiguous to
said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to be included
within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana Is to be
classified as number zone.
SECTION 5. That on the 17th day of August, 1964, at 7:30 P. M. in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of approval
or disapproval, In writing, of the proposed.extension of the boundaries of
said City, from resident freeholders of the above described tract proposed
to be embraced, which expressions in writing have been filed with the City
Clerk, on or before August 12, 1964.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give the proper notice of
the passage of this resolution, by publication, as required by law, such
publication to be made in the Kalispell News, a weekly newspaper published
in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
