RESOLUTION NO. 2529
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA'
SECTION 1. That it Is the Intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell$ Montana to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section 247
of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, prescribing the limits
of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana is more particularly
described as follows:
BROWS ADDITION TO KALISPELL
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described above, will be in the best interests of the City of
Kalispell, and to the inhabitantsthereof, and to the inhabitants of the
contiguous tract above described, and to be included within the corporate
limits of said City, and further that said addition will not materially mar
the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said tract proposed
to be included within the corporate limits of said City is contiguous to said
City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described above, and to be
Included within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, has been
duly and regularly platted, as required by law, and is to be classified
as number zone.
SECTION 5. That on the 3rd day of August, 1964, at 7:30 P. M., In the
Council Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of
approval or disapproval, in writing, of the proposed extension of the
boundaries of said City from resident freeholders of the above described
lots proposed to be embraced, which expressions in writing have been
filed with the City Clerk on or before July 29, 1964.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk Is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage of the resolution by publication, as
required by law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell News, a
weekly newspaper, published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
this 6th day of July 1964.
