A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell, Montana is the owner of a tract of land
described as follows:
Lot 15, Block One, Readts Addition: All of Lot 15 of
Block One of Read's Amended Addition to the City of
Kalispell, Montana, and an unplatted tract lying east-
erly of said Lot 15 to the top of the bank of the
Lawrence Park Slough, being more particularly described
as follows; beginning at an iron pin located on the
Southwest corner of the NE �� NE �� of Section 7, Township
28 North, Range 21 West in Flathead County, Montana;
thence North 00550 East, a distance of 98.42 feet; thence
North 760 111 East, a distance of 110.0 feet; thence
southerly along the top bank of the Lawrence Park Slough
to a point on the southerly line of the NF k NE k (if
Section 7, Township 28 North, Range 21 West; thence West
along said line, a distance of 150 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kalispell did advertize and
received sealed bids an October 29, 1963 for the sale of the above
described tract, and the bid of Agnes Conrad in the amount of �3065.00
appearing to be the highest and best bid� and It also appearing to be
in the best interests of the City of Kalispell to accept said bid;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, that in consideration of the payment of $3065.00 the above
described tract be conveyed to Agnes Conrad, and the Mayor of the City
of Kalispell be authorized and directed to execute in the name of and
on behalf of the City of Kalispell, Montana a good and sufficient deed
conveying the above described tract of real estate, subject to a
reservation to the City of Kalispell, its successors and assigns of a
right of way and easement over, across and under the above described
tract for the purpose of laying out, constructing, servicing, and
maintaining water and sewer lines and appurtances.
