RESOLMION NO. 2501
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALTSPFLL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it Is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, Montana to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section
147 of the Revised Ordinances of the City oF Glispell, Montana of 1947
prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTTON 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within Me
corporate limiLs of the City of Kalispell, Montana is more particularly
described as follows;
Beginning at the SouthviesL corner of Section 18, Township 23
North, Range 21 West; thence West along the South line of -Section
18, a distance of 353.0 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
North 0, 071 West along the westerly line of a Public Road a dis-
tance of 125.0 feet; thence South 88, 111 Ww a distance of 340.26
feet; thence South 0* 131 West a distance of 1250 feet; thence
North 381 11' West a distance 125.0 feet to the true point of
beginning.
A tract of land beg0ning at a point 353.0 feet West of the
SouthWest corner of Section 18, Township 28 North, Range 21.
West, thence along the South line of Section 18, and North
01 071 West, a distance of 250.0 feet to the true point of,
beginning; thence continuing North 0, 07, West a distance of
125.0 feet to a point; thence South 880 11, East a distance
of 338.78 feet to a point; thence South 01 131 West a distance
of 125.0 feet to a point; thence North B81111 East a distance
of 339.52 feet to the true point of beginning.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described above, will be in the best interests of the City
Of Kalispell, and the inhabitants t4reof, W to Me inhabRaws of the
contiguous tracts above described, and to be included within the corporate
limits of said City, and further, that said addition will not materially
mar the Symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said tracts
proposed to be included within the corporate limits of said City are
contiguous Lo said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tracts of land above described, and to be
included within the Corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, MoAana
Ore 00 be Classified as number zone.
SECTION 5. That on the Sth day of July, 1963 at 7:30 P. M. in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof,
the City Council wilt consider any expressions oF approval or disapproval In
writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries of said City frall
resident freeholders of the above described tracts proposed to be ybraced,
which expressions in writing have been filed with the City Clerk on or before
June 27, 1963.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage OF this resolution by publication, as
required by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a
daily newspaper published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
