A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO.EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, MO-NTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it is the Intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section 247
of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, Montana of 1947 prescrib-
ing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana is more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of the SQ SEk of Section 13, Township
28 North, Range 21 West, thence from this true point of beginning,
South 88, 401 West along the northerly line of said SQ SEk of
Section 18, a distance of 681.5 feet, thence South 00 111 West a
distance of 312.5 feet, thence North 88* 4Q1 East 375.07 feet to a
point on the Easterly boundary of a public road, thence South 00 07,
Enst, 4.91 feet to the Northwest corner of Baker's Southside Addition,
thence East along the North boundary of Bakerts Southsl6e Addition a
distance of 283 feet to the centerline of a public road commonly known
as the Airport Road, thence North Oo 071 West along the centertine of
said road 324.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 5.0 acres�
more or less.
Also Lots 14 and 15, Block one of Baker's Souths1de Addition to
Kalispell, Montana, according to the map or plat thereoE on file..
in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County,
Montana,
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described above, will be in the best interests of the City of
Kalispell, and the inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabitants of the
contiguous tract above described, and to be included within the limits of
said CitY5 and further that said addition will not materially mar the
symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that said tract proposed
to be included within the corporate limits of said City is contiguous to
sold City,
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to be included
within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana is to be
classified as number zone.
SECTION 5. That on, the 8th day of July, 1963 at 7 00 P. M. in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montona, at a regular meeting thereof,
the City Council will consider any expressions of approval or disapproval,
in writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries of said ClLy From
resident freeholders of the above described lots proposed to be embraced,
which expressions in writing have been filed with the City Clerk on or before
June 27, 1963.
SECTION 6. The City Clark is hereby directed to give the proper notice of the
passage of this resolution by publication as required by law, such publication
to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a dnily newspaper published in the City
of Kalispell, Montana.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
this 3rd day of June, 1963.
