A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALLSPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. Thu it is the intention of the City Counell of the City of Kalispell,
Montana to extead the corporate limltsq and to amend Section 247 of -the Revised
Or6inances of the City of Kalispell, Montana of 1947 prescribing the limits of
said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional aren to be included within the corporate
limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of Section 20, Tounship 28 North,
Range 21 West; thence southerly along the westerly line of
said Section 20, to its intersection with the southerly low
water line of Ashley Creek; thence southeasterly along the
southerly low water line of Ashley Creek to its intersection
with the easterly line of the NWj SQ of Section 20, Township
V8 North, Range 21 West; thence northerly along said line to
the NE corner'of the NWI S% of Section 20, Township 28 North,
Range 21 West; thence easterly along the southerly line of the
SA NA of Section 20, to the SE corner of SEk NWk of Section
?0; thence northerly along the easterly edge of HIghwny 4�93 to
Its intersection with the southerly line of the NEI NWk of Section
20; thence northwesterly along the centerline of the existing
County Road to its intersection with the northerly line of Section
20; thence westerly along the northerly line of Section ?0, to
the NW corner of Section 20, Township 28 North, Range 21 West,
the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of KA11spell,
Montana, as described above, will be in the besL interests of the'City of
Kalispell, and the inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabitants of the contig-
uous tract above described, and to be included within the corporate limits of
said City, and further that said addition will not materially mar thesymmstry
end order of the City of Kalispell, and that sold tract proposed to be included
within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, is contiguous to said City.
SECTTON 4. That the saW tract of land above described, and to be included
within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, 'Montina is to be class-
ified as number zone.
SECTION 5. That on the Wh day of July, 1963 at 7:30 F. M. I" the'Council
Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof,
the ClLy Council will consider any expressions of approval or dis.1pproval,
in writing, of the proposed extension of the boundaries of said City from
resident freeholdars'of the above described tract propo5ed.to be embraced,
which expressions in writing have been Aled with the City Clerk on or before
July 3, 1963.
StICTION 6. Thnt the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by p"blicatioa, as
required by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lakej a
daily newspaper published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
