RESOLTITTON NO. 2499
A RESOLUTION OF I=NTTON TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIrY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA-
SECTION 1. Thn it is the intelywa of the aty Cotmol of the Aty of
Kalispell, Montana to extend the corporate limits, and t 9 amend Section
247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell , ontana of 1947
prescribing ttie limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particularly
described as follows;
South half of LoL One of Block Elcven; South half of Lot Three
of Block Eleven; All of Lot Four of Block Eleven of High School
Additiont and Lots Eight5 Nine and Ten of Hammer's Subdivision
of Lot Two of Block Eleven, High School Addition to Kalispell.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described above, will be in the best Interests of the City
of Kalispell, end the inhabitants thereof, and to the inhablLants of the,
contiguous tracts above described, and to he included within the corporate
limits of said City, and further that said addition will not materially
mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that Said traCt
proposed to be included within Ube corporate limits of said City is
contiguous to said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to.be included
within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana is to be
classified as number zone.
SECTION 5. That on the Sth day of July, 1963 at 7:30 P. M. In the Council
Chambers of the City Pall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular Meeting,
thereof, the City Council will consider any expressions of approval or
disapproval, In writing, of the proposed extension, of the boundaries of
said City from resident freeholders of the above described lots proposed
to be embraced, which cxpressions In writing have been filed with the
City Clerk orr or before June 27, 1963.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication, as
required by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake,
a daily newspaper published in the City of Kalispell, montana.
