Resolution 2497 - Discontinue Street in Montgomery AddnRESOLUTION NO. 2497
WHEREASv a petition has been presented to the City Council of the
City of Kalispell, Montana, to discontinue, vacate and abandon a
portion of a street in the SENWJ and in the NESA of Section 7,
Township 28 North, Range 21 West MPM, Flathead County Montana,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 3 in Block I
oC Montgomery's Addition to Kalispell, according to
the recorded plaL thereof; thence North 0 041 East
along the Westerly boundary of said Block 11 230 feet
to the Northwest corner of Lot 2 in said Block 1;
thence Westerly along the South boundary of Lot I in
said Block 2, 42.5 feet; thence South 8 321 East, 230
feet more or less to the place of beginning.
and further finding that said petition alleges that all of the
owners of lots adjoining said street to he vacated have signed
said petition, that said petition was in writing, and that the
closing of said street can be done without detriment to the
public interest, and further finding that notice of said petition
was duly given in accordance with Section 11-2802 of the Revised
Codes of Montana, 1947;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, that the above described street be, and the
same is hereby discontinued, vacated and abandoned, and that the
landtherein shall attach to and become part of the adjoining lots
and properties.
