RESOLUTION NO. 2481
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That It is the Intention Of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section
247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, Montana of 1947t
prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particularly
described as follows:
Proposed Baker South Side Addition to Kalispell, Montana,
excluding lots thirteen and fourteen of said Addition.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montanav as described above, will be in the beat Interests of the City of
Kalispell, and the Inhabitants there6fv and to the inhabitants of the
contiguous tract above described, and to be included within the limits of
said City, and further, that such addition will not materially mar the
symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that such tract proposed
to be included within the corporate limits of said City Is contiguous to
said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to be included
within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, as aforesaid,
is duly and regularly platted as required by law, and Is to be classified
as number zone.
SECTION 50 That'on the 7th day of January, 1963 at 7:30 P. M. In the
Council Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting thereof, the City Council will hear and pass upon any protests
that may be made against the extension of these boundaries. The closing
time for the filing of protests is hereby declared to be 5100 O'clock P.M.
January 7th, 1963.
SECTION 6. The'City Clerk'is hereby,authorized and directed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as required
by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily news-
paper published In the City of Kalispell, Montana.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
this 10th day of December, 1962.
