RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF TRE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTA�A
BE Lr RESOIXFT.) BY 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That 1L is the intention of the Sty C"nKl of the CAy of Kalisyll,�.
Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section 247 of the Revised
Ordinances OF the City of Kalispell, Montana of 1947, prescribing the limits of
said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be inclKed WtMn the wrporate
limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, is more particularly described as
follows:
A tract of land locate(l in Government Lot 4, Section 7,
Township 28 north, Range 21 W., Flathead County, Montana, being
more particalarly described as followst
Beginniag at the Northeast coraer of Lot 4, thence, running
westerly along the north boundary line of Lot 4 on n bearing of S.
890 541 30" W. a distance or 142.43 feet to a point where the
northerly extension of 8th Avenue West Nortb intersects the North
boundary line of said Lot 4; thence S. 13* 491 E. Along westerly
boundary line of 8th Avenue West North and continuing southerly a
distance of 1723.97 feet, from above point to its intersection of
the South boundary line of the Great Northern Right of Way thence;
N. 760 11' E. along the South property line of the Great Northern
Right of Way, a distance of 40.00 feet to its intersection with
the easterly boundary line of sold Lot 4, thence; A 00 IRI 30" E.
1179.43 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
as described above, will be in the best interests of the City of Kalispell, and
the inhabitants bereof, and to the inhabitants of the contiguous tract above des-
cribed, and to be included within the limAs of said City, and furthert that such
addition will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell,
and that such tract proposed to be included within the corporate limits of said
City is contiguous to said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above describeds and to be included Within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, as aforesaid, is duly and
regularly platted as required by law, and is to be classified as number two
residential zone.
SECTION 5. That on the 10th day of December, 1962, at 7*30 P.M. in the Council
Chawbers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof,
the City Council will pass upon any protests that may be made against the extension
of these boundaries. The closing time for the filing of protests is hereby declared
to be
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper
notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as required by law, such
publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published In
the City of Kalispell, Montana.
