A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXPEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA*
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City
of Kalispellv Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section
247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell, Montana of 1947,
prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be Included within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana is more particularly
described as follows:
41SHOP ADDITION TO KALISPELL"
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell
Montana, as described above, will be In the best interests of the City of
Kalispell and the inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabitants of the contig-
u ' 6us tract above described, and to be Included within the limits of said City,
and further, that such addition will not materially mar the symmetry and
order of the City of Kalispell, and that such tract proposed to be included
within the corporate limits of said City is contiguous to said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to be
included within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, as
aforesaid, is duly and regularly platted as required by law, and is to be
classified as number zone.
SECTION 5. That on the 4th day of February, 1963 at 7:30 P. M6 In the
Council Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting thereof, the City Council will hear and pass on any protests -that
may be made against the extension of these boundaries. The closing time
for filing protests is hereby declared to be 5:00 o'clock P. M. January
30, 1963.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as
required by law, such publication to be made in the Dally Inter Lake, a
daily newspaper published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
