RESOLUTION NO. 2484
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR INCREASE IN PLANNED TOTAL EXPENDITURES
FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, under the terms of Public Law 87-658, approved September 14.
1962, the United States of America has authori2ed the making of grants to
aid In financing construction of specific public works projects, provided
the proposed or planned total expenditures of the public body for its
capital improvement projects Is Increased by an amount approximately equal
to the non -Federal funds required to complete such public works projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA:
1. That as of the date of filing of an application by the City of
Kalispell (hereafter called Applicant) with the Housing and Home Finance
Agency, United States Government, for a grant to aid In financing the
construction of a nine hole addition to golf course, the Applicant had a
capital improvements plan or capital improvement budget for the fiscal
year during which construction of the proposed project Is expected to
occur; and that the total expenditure for capital improvements in said
plan or budget was $ for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1963,
and � _ for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1964.
2. That the City of Kalispell has filed a record with the Housing
and Home Finance Agency of the United States Government for Its application
for federal funds to be used in the construction of the water main to
Northridge Addition, which project has been given first priority by the
Applicant; said first priority project will necessitate a capital improve-
ment increase during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1962 In the amount of
$12,600000,exclusive of Federal funds.
3. That, in the event that said Federal grant for the nine hole
addition to the golf course is approved by the United States of America,
said capital.improvements plan or capital budget will be (is hereby)
increased by $ —for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1963,
and $ —for the fiscal year ending June 30s 1964s for a total
increase of $ —in the proposed or planned total expenditure
for capital,improvement projects exclusive of Federal funds.
4. That said Increase in the proposed or planned total expenditure
for capital improvement projects is approximately equal to the non -Federal
funds required to complete the public works project for which the applica-
tion is to be submitted.
