RESOLUTION NO. 2491
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CREATE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 301
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTAXA:
SECTION 1. That It is the intention of the City Council. of the City of
bligpell, Mantua, to create Special Improvement District No. 301, for
the purpose of Installing a sanitary sewer in a part of POSTON ADDITION
and BAKER SOUTH SIDE AMATION TO KUTSPELL.
SECTION 2. That the area to be included within this Special Improvement
District Is LOTS ONE and TWO of POSTON ADDITION, and ALL of BAKER SOUTH
SIDE ADDITION, excepting LOTS FOURTEEN AND FIFTEEN.
SECTION 3. That the generat'characLer of the improvements to be made
in said proposed Special Improvement District is the Installation of a
sanitary sewer.
SECTION 4. That the estimated cost of said improvements is $6,672,00.
SECTION 5. That the entire cost and expense of said improvements shall
be assessed against each lot within the district to be assessed for
that part of the whole cost which its area beers to the area of the
entire district,
SECTION 6. That said assessment shall be paid for in full Upon comple-
tion of the contract, or shall be paid in ton equal installments, hereby
extended over a period of ten years. Said assessment shall constitute
a fund to be known as Special Improvement District No. 301.
SECTION 7. That said Improvements shall be paid for In Special Improve-
ment District Warrants issued against said district in sums not to exceed
$500.00 each, bearing interest at a rate not to exceed six percent (A)
per annum from date of registration onnil called for redemption or paid
in full.
SECTION S. That on the 3rd day of June, 1963, at 7:30 P. M. in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Kalispell, Montana,
at a regular meeting thereof, the City Council will here and pass on
any protests that may be made against the making of said improvements
or the creation of said district.
SECTION 9. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication and
mailing as required by law, such publication to be made in the Daily
Inter Lake, a daily newspaper, published in the City of Kalispell, Montann.
PASSED AND APPRUVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
this 6th day of May, 1963.
