A RESOLUTION OF INTENTTON TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, qON'TA1NA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council. of the City
of Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend
Section 247 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell,� Montana
of 1947, prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montan��i is more particularly
described as follows;
MILAM ADDITION TO KALISPELL
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, as described above, will be in the best interests
of the City of Kalispell, and the Inhabitants hereof, and to the
inhabitams of the contiguous tract above describer], and to be
included within the limits of said City, and further, that such
addition will riot MaLerially mar the symmetry and order of the City
of Kalispell, and that such tract proposed to be included within the
corporate limits of said City is contiguous to said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to -be
included within the corporate timits of the City of Kalispell, Montana
as aforesaldv is duty and regularly plattEd as required by law, and is
to be classified as number two residential zone.
SECTION 5. That on the 7th day of May, 1962 at 7:30 P. M. in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall in Kalispell, Montana, at a regula ' r
meeting thereof, the City Council will pass upon any protests that
may be made against the extension of these boundaries. The closing
time for the filing of protests is hereby declared to be 5:00 O'cloek
P. M. Apri 1 30, 1962.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give
the proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as
req,pired by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake,
a daily newspaper published in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA, this 2nd day of April, 1962.
