A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE GRANTING OF INCREASED RATES FOR NATURAL GAS FOR THE
CITY OF KALISPELL AND FI-AT14EAD VALLEY.
WHEREAS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, has passed a resolution
providing for an election on the question of granting the Montana Power Company a
franchise for the distribution of gas in the City of Kalispell, and
WHEREAS, the securing of a gas supply for the City of Kalispell and the Flathead
Valley would be highly desirable and beneficial to its citizens and the general
ezonomy of the area,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
that the Public Service Connission of the State of Montana be requested to give
every possible consideration to the granting of a fair and reasonable rate to the
Montana Power Company for the distribution of gas in this area.
