RESOLUTION No. 2454
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MOWTANA.
BE ITRESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA-.
SECTION 1. That It is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, to extend the corporate limitss and to amend * Section 247
of the REVISED ORDINANCES of the City of Kalispell of 1947, prescribing the
limits of said city.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the city of Kalispell, Montana, Is more part.icularly
described as follows;
NORTH EAST ADDITION TO KALISPELL, MONTANA
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described above, will be in the best Interest of the - City of
Kallspell� and the Inhabitants thereof, and to the Inhabitants of the
contiguous tract above described, and to be included within the litnits of
said City, and further, that such addition will not materially mar the
symmetry and order of the City of Xalispell� and that such tract proposed
to be included within the corporate limits of said City Is contiguous to
sold City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described, and to be Included
within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana as aforesaid,
is duty and regularly platted as required by law.
SECTION 5. That on the 5th day of March, 1962 at 7:30 P. M. in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall In the City of Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
meeting thereof, the City Council will hear and pass upon any protests that
may,be made against the extension of these boundaries. The closing time
for the filing of protests is hereby declared to be March 5, 1962 at 5:00
o'clock P. M.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk Is hereby authorized and directed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as required
by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily
newspaper published In the City of Kalispell, Montana.
PASSED AM APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
this 5th day of February, 1962.
