RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY or KALISPELL, MONTANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA-
SECTION 1. That it Is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Kalispello Montana, to extend the corporate limits, and to amend Section
247 of the revised ordinances of the City of Kalispell of 1947, prescribing
the limits of said city.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, is more particularly described
as follows:
POSTON ADDITION TO KALISPELL, MONTANA.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, as described above, will be In the best interest of the City of
Kalispell, and the Inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabitants of the
Contiguous tract above described, and to be Included within the limits , of
said city$' and further, that such addition will not materially mar the
symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that such tract proposed
to he Included within the corporate limits of said city is contiguous to
said city.
SECTION 4. That the,,,G�Rld tract of land above described and to be included
within the corporate limits of the City of Knlispell� Montana, as aforesaidv
Is duty and regularly platted as required by law, and zones. 'No. 6 industrial
zone.
SECTION 5. That on the 5th day of March at 700 o'clock P. M. In the
Council Chambers of the City Hall In the City of KAI.iqpell, Montana, at
a r,egular meeting thereof, the City Council will hear and pass upon any
protests that may be made against the extension of these boundaries.
The closing time for the filing of protests Is hereby declared to be
5:00 oOclock P. M. March 5, 1962.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk Is hereby authorized and directed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as required
by law, such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily
newspaper published In the City of Kalispell, Montana.
