Resolution 2411 - Invests Surplus Water & Sewer FundsA RESOLUTION INVESTING SURPLUS WATER WORKS AND SEWER SERVICE FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Water Works Department and Sewer Service Department of the City of
Kalispell, Montana, now have on hand excess funds over and above theirimmediate
operating requirements, and
WHEREAS, it is In the best interests of the City of Kalispell that these funds be
invested in Interest bearing obligations,
NOW THEREFORE, it is resolved by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana*
1. That the MAYOR, THE CITY TREASURER, AND THE CHAIRMAN OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE
be, and they are hereby authorized and Instructed to Invest the sum of $10,000.00
of Water Works Funds and $10,000.00 of Sewer Service Funds In 180 day United States
Treasury Bills.
2. That the above named committee followlthe same procedure in the purchase and
safe -keeping of these securities as provided for In RESOLUTION NO. 2407, for other
Government securities.
