A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT AN EMERCENCY EXISTS AND THAT IT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE
EXPE3DITTRES TN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT BUDWED FOR T11E DEPARTMENT OF PARKING METERS.
WHEREAS, during the fiscal year of 1958-59, an emergency arose in the retiretnent
of Mr. Clarence Evanson, parking meter attendant on June 1, 1.959, requiring the
payment of his vacation benefits plus retirement and social security contributions
in the amount of $616.70, which paynents coulc not be anticipated at the time of
fixing the budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, that
by reason of the facts above stated, an emergency is hereby declared to exist under
the laws of the State of Montana, and that the expenditure of $616.70 in exwess of
the budget of the Parking Meter Department, is hereby approved and authorized for
the purpose set forth.
