W"FREAS% The City of Kalispell* Montana, has heretofore made application to the
Department of Health, Education, and Welfare of the United States of America for
a Federal Grant for an addition to an existing primary sewage treatment plant
under the provisions of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 EY. S. C. 466
et seq.), and
WHEREAS, the Surgeon General of the Public Health Service, acting In behalf of
the United States of America, has extended an offer to the City of Kalispell,
Montana, of a Federal grant in connection with such proposed project in the amount
of $63,000.00, which offer was accepted on September 2* 1958� by the Honorable
Claude Walter, the then duly elected and qualified Mayor of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, and
WHF.RM, it is the desire of the City of Kalispell, Montana, to complete the*
acceptance of the above offer and grant,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Honorable Howard V. Hamer, the now duly elected and
qualified Mayor of the City of Kalispell, Montana, be and is hereby authorized
and directed to sign and execute on behalf of said City of Kalispell, the supple-
mental project information* contained In PART B of the offer and acceptance of
Federal Grant for sewage treatment works under 33 U. S. C. 466 at. seq. -
