RESOLUTION NO, 2345
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
AND DESCRIBE THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY T14E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City of Kalispell, Montana, to extend
the corporate limits of said City and the anemded Section 247 of the Revised
Ordinances of the City of Kalispell of 1947, prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the corporate
limits of said City is more particularly described as follows:
LOTS ONE AND TWO OF BLOCK THREE OF WOODLAND PARK ADDITION
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell as
described above will be to the best interests of the City of Kalispell and the
inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabitants of the contiguous tract above described
and to be included within the limits of the said City, and further that such
addition will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell,
and that such tract proposed to be included within the corporate limits of said
City is contiguous to said City.
SECTION 4. That the said tract of land above described and to be included within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, as aforesaid, Is duly
and regularly platted as required by law.
SECTION 5. That on the 7th day of July, 1958, at 7:30 P. M., In the Council Chambers
of the City Hall in the City of Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting thereof,
the City Council will pass on all protests that may be made against the extension
of these boundaries. The closing time for the filing of protests is hereby
declared to be July 1, 1953, at 5:00 P. M.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper
notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as required by law, such
publication to be made in the Kalispell News -Farm Journal, a weekly newspaper
published in the City of Kalispellv Montana.
