RESOLUTION NO. 2340
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TUC SALE OF R17,A1, ESTATE (W THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA.
WHEREAS, The City of Kalispell, Montana, is the owner of a tract of land described
as follows:
A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section 7, Township 23 North,
Range 21 West, 5. P. M., being in and i part of, Park Addition to
Kalispell, according to the official plat thereof, which tract is more particularly
described as follows, to -wit:

, at a point on the Easterly extension of the Northerly boundary line
of Block 4 of said highland Park Addition, which point is 36.91 feet digtant
fron the Northwest cooner of lot I of said Block 4; thence from said point of
beginning, 7asterly and along said Easterly extension of said 1,qortherly boundary
line a distance of 17.31 feet, more or less, to a point on the Easterly boundary
of said Illighlandt Park Addition; thence South 00031 Last, a distance of 173.22 feet
to a point; thence South 590551 West, a distance of 17.31 feet to a point; thence
North 0008' West a distance of 173.92 feet to the point of beginning containit''',
0.069 acres, more or less;
uhich, tract reverted to the City by reason of the abandonnient of Sterlina Avenue,
in 'Righland Park Addition, and it being the desire of the owner of the adjoining
lot to acquire this tract in order to provide a suitable building site, and
WEEREAS, said tract is not held in trust for any specific purpose, and an offer
of $200.00 having been made by W. R. hillstead for the above described tract,
which offer is deemed to be adequate, and it also appearing to be in the best
interests of the City what such offer be accepted.
NOW MEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Kalispell,
Montana, that the above described tract of land be conveyed to W. H. Hillstead
in consideration of the payment of $200.00 and the Mayor be authroized and
directed to execute in the name and on behalf of the City of Kalispell, 1,501-cana,
a good and sufficient deed conveying the above described real property, subject
to a reservation to the City of Kalispell, its successors and assigns of a
right of way and easement over, across, and unler the Easterly 10 feet of said
property for the purpose of laying out, constructing, servicing, and maqintainin�;
water and sewer lines and appurtenant fixtures.
