RESOLUTION NO. 2333
RESOLUTION Or INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LTMITS OF THE C1117 Or
K&LISPELL, MONTANA, AND DESCRIBE THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Or 'nlZ CITY OF NALISPELL, MONTANA,.
SECTTON 1. That it is the intention of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
to extend the corporate liatits of said City and to amend Section 247 of the
Revised Ordinances of the City of Kalispell of 1947, prescribing the limits of
said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the
corporate limits of Said City is more particularly described as followst
as shoon by the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the Office of the
County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana.
SECTION 3. That the extemsion of the bourdaries of the City of Kalispell
as described above will be to the best interest to the City of 7'alispell and the
inhabitants thereof, and to the Inhabitants of the contiguous tract above
described and to be Included within the limits of said City, and further that
such addition will not materially mar the sy=etry and order of the City of
Kalispell, and that such tract proposed to be included within the corporate
limits of said City is contiguous to said City.
SECTION 4. That said tract of Imid above described and to be included within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, as aforesaid is duly
and regularly platted as required by law.
SECTION 5. That on the 4th day of November, 1957, at 7:30 P. M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall In the City of Kalispell, Montana, at a regular
mecting thereof, the City Council will pass on all protests that may be made
against the extension of these boundaries. The closing time for the filing
of protests is hereby declared do be November 1, 1957, at 5:00 o9clock P. M.�
SECTION 5. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the prope�r
notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as required by law,
such publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a dally newspaper published
In the City of Kalispell, Montana.
