Resolution 2321 - Emergency - Budget Transfer - City Health OfficerM1 RESOLUTION NO. 2321 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT AN EMERGENCY EXISTS AND THAT IT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE EXPENDITURES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT BUDGETED FOR THE OFFICE OF THE CITY HEALTH OFFICER. WHEREAS, during the fiscal year of 1956-57 an emergency arose involving the public health and welfare, due to the lack of adequate facilities for testing of milk and it became necessary to expend $347.23 in excess of the budget for the City Health Officer, to provide funds for this program. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Kalispell that by reason of the facts above stated, an emergency is hereby declared to exist under the provisions of the law of the State of Montana, and the expenditure of $347.23 in excess of the budget of the City Health Officer is hereby approved and authorized for the purpose set forth.
