RESOLUTION NO. 2317
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MONTANA, AND DESCRILE THE FOUNDIRIES THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CIT.Y. OF KAjJS7E.,LT,,, MONlANA-
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City of Kalispell, Montana, to extend
the corporate limits of said City and to amend Section 247 of the revised Ordinances
of the City of Kalispell of 1947, prescribing the limits of said City.
Section 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the corporate
limits of said City -Is more particularly described as follows -
WOODLAND PARK ADDITION
as shown by the nap or plat thereof on file and of record in the Office of the
County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana.
Section 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell as
described above will be to the best interest to the City of Kalispell and the
inhabitants thereof, and to the inhabitants of the contiguous tract above described
and to be included within the 106ts of said City, and Qrther that such addjtdon
will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that
such tract proposed to be included within the corporate limiLs of said City is
contiguous to said City.
Section )j. Thal� said tract of land above described and to be included within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana, as aforesaid is duly and
regularly platted as required by law.
Section 5. That on the 6th day of May, 1957, at 7;30 P. M., in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Knlisrall, Montana, at a regular meeting
thereof, the City Council will pass on all protests that may be made against
the extension of these boundaries. The closing time for the filing of protests
is hereby declared to be May 2, 1957, at 5:00 o'clock P. M.
Section 6, The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper
notice of the passaVe of this resolution by publication as required by law,
such publication -to be rade in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published
in the City of Kalispell, Montana.
