RESOLUTION NO. 2310
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL,
MENTANA.
BE IT RESOINED BY THE CITY GOUNGIL OF THE CITY OF KALISFELL, MONTINA:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City of Kalispell, Montana, to extend
the corporate limits of said City and to amend Section 20 of the Revised Ordinances
of the City of Kalispell of 1907, prescribing the limits of said City.
SECTION 2. That the proposed additional area to be included within the corporate
limits of said City are rare particularly described as follows;
Flathead County Fair Grounds, as shavn by a amp or plat thereof on file and of
record in the office of the County Glerk and Recorder of Dlathead County, Montana.
SECTION 3. That the extension of the boundaries of the City of Kalispell as
described above will be to the best interests of the City of Kalispell, and the
inhabitants thereof, and of the inhabitants of the Contiguous tracts above described
and to be included within the limits of said City, and further, that such additions
will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City of Kalispell, and that
such tract proposed to be included within the corporate limits of said City is
contiguous to said City.
SECTION 1�. That said tract of land as above described and to be included within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, as aforesaid, is duly and rerularly
platted as required by law.
SECTION 5. That on the 5th day of November, 1956, at 7:30 P. M., in the Council,
Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Kalispell, Montana, at a regular meeting.
thereof, the City Council will pass on all. protests that may be made against Me
extension of these boundaries. The closing Van for the filing of protests is
hereby declared to be October 31, 1956, at 5:00 o'clock P. H.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the
proper notice of the passage of this resolution, by publication as required by
law, such publication to be made in the Kalispell News -Farm Journal, a weekly
newspaper published in the City of Kalispell.
