RESOLUTION NO. 2295
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS 0? TME CITY OF' KALISIT.,'LL5
MONTANA, AND DESCRIBE ITIE BOUNDARIES THEREOF,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI'I'f COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the City of Kalispell, Montana, to extend
the =poralo limit3 of oaia city and to amend bection 24T of the Reviaed Ordinancoo
of the City of Kalispell of 1947, prescribing the limits of said City.
Section 2. That the proposed additional areas to be included within the corporate
limits of said City are more particularly described as follows:
DECKERS ADDITION '10 KALISPELL, MONTANA
GOLF COURSE ADDITION NO. 2 TO KALISPELL, MONTANA
As shown by the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the
County Clerk and Recorder of Flathead County, Montana.
Section 3. That the extension of -the boundaries of the City of Kalispell as
described above will be tolthe best interest of the City of Kali -spell, and. the
inhabitants thereof, and of the inhabitants of the contiguous tracts above
described and to be Included within the limits of said City, and further that
such additions will not materially mar the symmetry and order of the City of
Kalispell, and that such tracts proposed to be included within the corporate limits
of said City are contiguous to said City.
Section 4. That said tracts of land as above described and to be included within
the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell as aforesaid, are duly and regularly
platted as required by law.
Section 5, That on the 4th day of September, 1956, at 7:30 P. M-5 ir) the Council
Chambers of the City Hall in the City of Kalispell, at a regular meeting thereof,
the City Council will pass on all protests that may be made against the extension
of these boundaries. The closing time for the filing of these protests is hereby
declared -to be September 4, 1956, at 5:00 o'clock P. X.
Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give the proper
notice of the passage of this resolution by publication as required by law, such
publication to be made in the Daily Inter Lake, a daily newspaper published in
the City of Kalispell, Montana.
