IN THF CURRENT BUDGET FOR MISCELLANFOU GLNERAL MFENISE AM
FOLICEn,N'S RETIREMENT FUND.
WHLREAS: In order to meet the requirements of this Department
for the year 1952-53 it war, necessary to make expenditures in
excess of the amount budgeted in the amount of 414.39 of the
Misc. Expense Account of the General Fund, and
WEEREAS. Because of an additional. Police Officer being placed
on Retirement during current year for which no funds were
anticipated, it was necessary to expend from the Police Pension
Fund the sum of 4159.00 in excess of the amount budgeted.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLYED BY THE, ' CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL THAT BY REASON Or 'ME FACTS ABOVE STATED an emergency
is hereby declared to exist under provisions of the law of' the
State of Montena and that the expenditure of $14-39 in excess of
the current budget for Misc. General Fund and expenditure of
$15P.00 in excess of the Police Pension Fund are hereby autborized
for the purposes set forth, and. the City Clerk is hereby authorized.
to draw emergency warrants against these funds and the City
Treas-urer authorized and directed to pay such warrants.
