RESOLUTION NO. 2216
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT AW rMERGENGY EXISTS AND THAT IT IS NECESSARY TO
14AKE EXPLNDITUTES IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PROVIDED BY T14B CURREINT DUDGET FOR
'THE WATER WORKS DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS: The City Council has authorized the exj)enditure of Water Department
funds for the purpose of construction an additional reservoir, and;
WHEREAS: No provision was made for this expenditure in the 1951-52 budget,
and
UREREAS: It is deemed to be to the best interests of the City of Kalispell
to start and complete this project before unfavorable weather sets in.
NOW 11FREFOEFs BE IT RESOLVED BY TI�E CITY COUNCIL OF TRE CITY CF KALISPELL
THAT BY REASON OF TIRE FACTS 11EREINABOVE STATED, AN EMERGENCY IS HEREBY DLCL&RPD
to exist under the provisions of the law of the state of Montana in such case
made and provided, and that expenditures in an amount of $)1588.16 in excess
of the current budget for the Water Works Department of the City of Kalispell
is hereby authorized for thepurposes hereinabove set forth, and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized to draw emergency warrants against the said fund and the
City Treasurer is authorized and directed to pay such warrants, then the same
shall be registered and bear interest and be called for payment in the manner
provided by law for other City warrants.
