RESOLUTION NO. 2247
RESOLUTION CHANGING NAME OF THAT PORTION OF U. S. HIGHWAY No. 93 FROM
ITS INTERSECTION WITH MAIN STREET TO THE NORTHWEST OTTY LIMITS, TO
"SUNSET BOULEVARD."
WHEREAS, some of the property owners of property fronting on that
portion of IT. S. Highway No. 93 from its intersection with Main Street to
the northwest city limits in Kalispell� Montana, have filed a petition
with the City Council requesting that 'the name of such portion of U. S.
Highway No. 93 be changed to "Sunset Boulevard'I and
WHEREAS, it appears that it will be to the best interests of
the City of Kalispell and the inhabitants thereof to change the name in
conformity with such petition; NOW THE�REFORE, pursuant to Section 11-907
of the Revised Codes of Montana of 19471
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the name of that portion of U. S.
Highway- No. 93 from its intersection with Main Street to the northwest
city limits in Kalispell, Montana, be changed to "Sunset Boulevard."

the Council a plat showing such change and otherwise comply 1Ath Section
11-908 of the Revised Codes of Montana to 1947, by filing said approved
plat with the County Clerk and Recorder, among other things.
